My Story: Rooted in Empathy, Driven by Purpose

Helping others has always been a deep calling for me, and working in the mental health field has given me the opportunity to support individuals during some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. With over four years of experience in behavioral health, case management, hospital-based care, and family services, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from all walks of life.

Throughout my journey, I’ve worn many hats—advocating for clients, guiding them through treatment transitions, providing psychoeducation, and connecting them to essential services. These experiences have shaped my belief in the power of empathy, access, and advocacy.

At my core, I’m passionate about creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

My Role at Open-Minded Therapy

As the Care Coordinator at Open-Minded Therapy, I’m often the first point of contact for new clients. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support, so my goal is to ensure every person feels welcomed and understood from the very beginning. I guide clients through the intake process, answer questions about services, and work to match each individual with the therapist and support that best fits their needs.

I believe that compassion, clarity, and trust are the foundation of every healing journey—and I’m honored to help lay that foundation for our clients here at Open-Minded Therapy.

A Bit About Me Personally

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, which has greatly shaped my approach to the intake process. My education provided a strong foundation in client advocacy, cultural humility, and systems-based thinking—all of which are essential when supporting individuals at the very beginning of their mental health journey. This background allows me to approach each client interaction with empathy, insight, and a deep understanding of the barriers people may face when seeking care.

Outside of my role at Open-Minded Therapy, I’m a proud and present mom—a role that has taught me so much about patience, empathy, and unconditional love. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the importance of mental and emotional wellness.

When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors, journaling, listening to music that lifts my spirit, and discovering new coffee shops (iced coffee is my go-to!). I’m also a big believer in personal growth and bring that mindset into my work—holding space for others as they take brave steps on their own healing journey.
