I have always believed that social work chose me, rather than the other way around. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to witness those closest to me promoting the betterment of others, not just family and friends, but often strangers too.
Even the smallest actions can have the biggest impact. As a child, I watched adults around me stop for those with flat tires, move objects obstructing the road, and simply smile and acknowledge everyone equally, regardless of their status. This instilled in me a desire to not just wait for opportunities to help others, but actively find ways to ease their difficulties.
This profession has allowed me to provide support to others during difficult times and promote hope when it is most needed.

Philosophy and Approach
My therapeutic approach encapsulates humanistic and holistic principles. I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can freely explore their inner thoughts. This encourages openness and vulnerability which in turn lays the foundation for impactful exploration and personal growth.
Recognizing that each individual views the world through their personalized lens allows me the opportunity to explore the uniqueness of each client’s perspective. This allows me to cater my approach to meet the specific needs of each client as well as assist in aligning thoughts, feelings, and actions with the clients’ authentic selves and help them live in accordance with their values and potential.
