My Story: A Commitment to Healing
As a woman of Caribbean descent, my path into therapy grew from a deep desire to understand people beyond their symptoms. I have always been drawn to the stories behind behavior—how lived experiences, culture, relationships, and resilience shape the way people cope and survive. I witnessed how meaningful it can be when someone is offered a safe, affirming space to feel seen and supported.
This work grew from a belief that people are not broken. Many are responding to difficult experiences in the best ways they know how. Therapy, to me, is about honoring a person’s humanity while helping them move toward healing, clarity, and growth.
Who I Work With
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and patterns shaped in past experiences. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed internally or stuck in cycles they are ready to change. I enjoy working with individuals seeking deeper self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of emotional security.

My Philosophy & Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it addresses both the roots of emotional challenges and the practical skills needed for daily life. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and trauma-informed.
I focus on understanding how early experiences, attachment patterns, belief systems, and nervous system responses influence current struggles.
At the same time, I prioritize concrete, evidence-based tools that help clients experience relief in the present. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), attachment-based and psychodynamic approaches, and trauma-focused interventions to support both insight and action.
When clients wish, I also incorporate faith as a source of meaning and grounding, while maintaining strong clinical boundaries.
Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and structured, with an ability to balance empathy and gentle challenge. I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach—your values, goals, and experiences guide our work.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t need to perform or have everything figured out. We move at a supportive pace while staying intentional, with a focus on building insight and skills that carry into daily life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with care, clarity, and respect, I would be honored to support you.
